Ascensor Espiritu Santo, a true museum attraction right at my doorstep. From the free breakfast on the terrace to exploring the Museo de Historia Natural, I had it all. And the free WiFi! Wow, so generous.
Oh, just a tiny annoyance - locating the hostel was like navigating a secret labyrinth. Surely adding to the adventure, right?

I recently stayed at La Casa Azul in Valparaiso for a week while traveling solo. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The balconies and patio offered breathtaking views of the harbor, and the comfy lounge was the perfect place to relax. I loved the thoughtful touches in the dorm rooms, like curtains on each bunk, individual lights for reading, and plenty of shelf space. The staff made me feel like part of their family, and I had no trouble making friends with other guests. The nightly live music on the porch was the cherry on top. Highly recommend!
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The atmosphere was jaw-droppingly amazing, like a home away from home, with a super friendly and helpful staff. The dorms were nice and safe, equipped with lockers and individual keys. The location offered a mind-blowing sunset view at the top of a long staircase. The volunteers were incredibly nice, and the shared living spaces were always buzzing with friendly conversations. The bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and hot water, although a bit busy in high season. The wifi worked great, and the simple breakfast fueled our adventures. I felt cared for and part of a loving "family" during my stay. It was a truly memorable experience!

I loved how I could convert one of the historical lifts of the city into my own private transportation! The free breakfast fueled my explorations and the garden was a perfect spot to relax. Plus, free WiFi and a computer in the dorm? Can't beat that!
As if free breakfast, free WiFi, and a garden weren't enough, they even offered me the lovely experience of dry cleaning/laundry services. Oh, wait.
